Privacy Policy

Workframe is a local-first Mac app. It does not require an account, use συγχρονισμό cloud, show ads, or include third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

Data stored on your Mac

Workframe stores work data on your Mac to support the Capture → Decide → Focus → Review loop. This can include tasks, labels, checklists, optional task details, links, notes, Today plans, Work Journal and review notes, focus sessions, reminder settings, language, appearance and workday preferences.

Activity Awareness

If you enable Activity Awareness, Workframe records limited local signals about the active app, such as the app name, bundle identifier and the time of each app switch. Review and Work Journal use those local samples to show approximate duration and activation counts. Workframe does not link apps to specific tasks.

Workframe does not read screen contents, browser URLs, documents, messages, keystrokes or window titles for this feature. You can turn Activity Awareness off.

Notifications

Workframe uses macOS notifications only if you allow them. Notifications handle local reminders for the workday, due tasks and focus sessions. If you deny notification permission, the core app should still work.

Local database and backups

Workframe stores app data and local backups on your Mac, inside the app's Application Support area or app container. Workframe does not keep a cloud copy of this data.

Support contact

If you contact support, you choose what to send: app version, macOS version, screenshots, logs or task details. Workframe does not send this information automatically.

App Privacy summary

Workframe's App Privacy posture is: no data collected from this app. This uses Apple's App Privacy definition of collection: data transmitted off-device to the developer or third parties for access beyond real-time servicing.

Local task, planning, focus, settings and optional activity data are still described here because they matter to trust, even when they never leave your Mac.
